RGC Holiday Meeting in Wesley Hall, December 16, 2019

The holiday meeting of RGC for 2019 was different in several ways. It was held in Wesley Hall instead of the usual Red Room. The traditional round robin was open to all instruments and voice for this special occasion. As a result we heard a variety of stringed instruments and a couple of vocals. The play around was followed by door prizes and refreshments. The play list follows:

Richard Taglieri , bowlback mandolin, Holiday Medley: “The Holly and the Ivy,” “I Saw Three Ships,” “Auld Lang Syne” (traditional)
Ken Luk, acoustic guitar, “Across the Universe” (Lennon/McCartney)
Kinloch Nelson, harp guitar, “The Rebel Jesus” (Jackson Brown)
Jeremy Carter, autoharp, “Silver Bells” (Jay Livingston)
John Williamson, Aria classical guitar, “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear” (Edmund Sears)
Lou Alano, harp guitar & voice, “One for You” (original for his mother)
Joe Palumbos, acoustic guitar, “Joyful, Joyful” (Brooks Williams)
Marty Pospula, acoustic guitar, “Carol of the Bells” (Ukrainian, Mykola Leontovych)
