Welcome to the Rochester Guitar Club!

♫ Welcome to The Rochester Guitar Club, an informal group for the appreciation and enjoyment of guitar music, lore and playing. Come on out to a meeting! We meet on the third Monday of each month; check the news items below as well as the event calendar for locations. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m., but please come early to patronize the host business and meet fellow members.

♫ Our event calendar also lists more information about our meetings, guitar music events in and around Rochester, New York, and other guitar-related events. You can also find RGC forms including the new brochure to download and print.

Be sure to visit us on MySpace as well.

Latest Guitar Club News ...

“My ex-wife was trying to be nice once, so she took me to a concert in Los Angeles. I went with her to Symphony Hall, and the orchestra was playing. When the show started, the spotlight was sharp on this one man (Andres Segovia) and he had a sombrero on and his guitar propped up like this and, oh man ... he was a master ! - I really heard it. That one guitar sounded like a whole orchestra to me.”
