Round Robin Outreach

• Hello, fellow guitarists!

RGC has initiated an exciting new series of round robin sessions outside our regular meeting schedule being held in various church venues. You are invited to participate!

Players are drawn from a list of volunteers, and church members are invited to join us. Each session is conducted much as they are at our regular meetings. Discussion of music, instruments, technique, etc. between songs is encouraged. Sessions will be one to two hours in length depending on the number of players available and the requirements of each venue.

These sessions are scheduled randomly as the opportunity arises. It is not necessary to perform at each session. If you are on the “volunteer player” list you will receive an e-mail announcing the current session and asking for your availability. If you decide to participate, you should prepare at least one or two pieces to perform and bring whatever music, equipment, stands, etc. you require. Amplification is usually provided. The sessions will not be in a concert format, but will be informal events with the goal of helping people learn how our club operates.
